Aileen and Jesse’s beautiful wedding at Flowerfield took place on a perfect Autumn day in October.  We had a fantastic time capturing their day and wanted to let Aileen and Jesse share a few words from their day: “So many people have used just one word to describe our wedding day: “fairytale” and we feel the exact same way! Jesse and I first met while we were freshmen at Northeastern University in Boston. 2012 will mark our 9th year together! Our first dance song, “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen, is the perfect way to describe our relationship. Jesse grew up in Glastonbury, CT and I in Center Moriches, NY but after we both graduated in 2007, we decided to stay in Boston. Almost half of our guests were from out of state and we were so excited they could all make the trip. Walking down the aisle with both of my parents was so special. Growing up as an only child, I felt it was fitting that 3 of us shared this special moment together. I couldn’t wait for Jesse to see my dress and the look on his face was absolutely priceless! Flowerfield went above and beyond our expectations. Our guests still cannot get over their famous cocktail hour. Our friends and family are still raving about our flowers and centerpieces done by Keyth from Lovin’ Oven. Dominic from Tommy’s Tunes kept everyone dancing all night and their lighting design truly set the mood and really made the room even more special than it already is. And of course, Chris from Brett Matthews captured our day perfectly and we couldn’t be happier with the gorgeous photos!” Congratulations again Aileen and Jesse!

On one of their very first dates, John took Martene apple picking and during this date, they learned that they had both spent a significant portion of their childhood either on farms or at orchards and those were the most special times of their childhood. With the memory of those times and this amazing date, they knew immediately that their wedding would have to be orchard themed. It was then no surprise that the minute they learned that Flowerfield had a vineyard and an orchard on its property, that it was the perfect venue for their wedding. “Every aspect of Flowerfield spoke to our love for the outdoors, and it is even more beautiful at night – there is something magical about this place. We worked with Robert at Pedestals Floral Decorators to create the centerpieces and all other floral arrangements for our wedding. Robert is an absolute artistic genius and the centerpieces he created had our guests in awe, incorporating trees, flowers and fruits. The arrangements captured the essence of strolling through a beautiful orchard and we were amazed that, with just a simple description of what we wanted, Robert and his team were able to create such beauty. We could not have asked for more perfect weather. While the entire day was absolutely magical, the highlight of the night was when John’s 84 year old grandmother took to the dance floor to show her moves……ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS!!!!” The bride wore a Vera Wang dress, purchased at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset and the groom wore a Hugo Boss suit – both the salon and the store provided phenomenal customer service and the salon has the most beautiful dresses available to brides. Invitations were designed by Teresa Lang and she did a beautiful job. We had a wonderful time with Martene and John and we can’t wait to see them again to put together their album. Congratulations again John and Martene!

Salima and Marc’s wedding at Flowerfields was beautiful. Their day started out early in the afternoon as Salima and Marc were getting ready to see each other for the first time. We had Salima and Marc meet outside at Flowerfields and after we gave them a few moments we took them around the grounds to make some gorgeous photos of the two of them together. Soon it was time head inside for their ceremony and party. Family and friends gathered to help Salima and Marc celebrate and as the evening faded into starlight, the party heated up. We had a fantastic time with Salima and Marc, capturing their day for them – Congratulations again Salima and Marc!

Luciana and Anthony’s wedding was at Flowerfield on Long Island on a warm Spring day in April. We met up with them early in the day for some getting ready photos before we headed over to Infant Jesus Parish for their ceremony. Afterwards it was on to Flowerfield where the Spring flora was in full force and we made some gorgeous portraits of Luciana and Anthony in the soft light of late afternoon. A fabulous party with family and friends capped of a fantastic day. Congratulations again Luciana and Anthony!

More Flowerfield Weddings

We met up with Erin and Casey for some getting ready photos of the two of them early in the day, before we headed over to Flowerfields. After we snapped those few precious moments where the bride and groom see each other for the first time, we spent the afternoon wandering the grounds making beautiful photos of the two of them together. After their gorgeous ceremony we spent the night dining, drinking and dancing in celebration of Erin and Casey’s love for each other. Congratulations again you two!

More Flowerfields Weddings

We met up with Basilia and John early in their day to get some photos of them getting ready, and after a few quick shots we headed over to St Robert Bellarmine. A gorgeous church and a young gentleman pulling a flower girl in a custom silver rimmed carriage made this ceremony one to remember for a long time. Afterwards we headed out to Flowerfields where the rest of John and Basilia’s family and friends were gathering to celebrate with them. A wonderful affair from beginning to end, congratulations again Basilia and John!
