Garden City Hotel Bat Mitzvah Photos – Mazel Tov Leah

Leah celebrated becoming a Bat Mitzvah at the exquisite, Garden City Hotel. Leah’s sister’s Molly and Rebecca, along with her parents Corrine and Dave, helped celebrate by dancing the night away. More than Music from Hank Lane productions provided the innovative sounds that made this night truly unforgettable. Thanks to the fabulous event planning of Janice Diamond and Randi Levine from Memories, the party was a another huge success, following Molly’s in 2008. Mazel Tov Leah!

Garden City Hotel Wedding Photos – Amy and Michael

What a fabulous wedding for a fabulous couple! The Garden City Hotel has played host to some of our favorite Long Island weddings this year, and we just love being able to share them with you. We had a fantastic time with Amy and Michael, but we’d love to let you hear directly from the bride herself! Congratulations again Amy and Michael!

“The thing that stood out I’d say was our large bridal party; we had 10 bridesmaids (including 2 very pregnant ones), 11 groomsmen, 2 best men and 2 flower girls, which makes 45-48 people who walked down our aisle! Other unique features is that my husband’s father is persian and so there was a big persian dance set which everyone loved and persian food in addition to the very broad selection of food at cocktail hour. It was very special for me to have 3 of my 4 grandparents there, and Michael had his two grandmas there. I wore my grandma’s pearl necklace which she gifted to me as a surprise on the day of my wedding and my grandfather who used to be a jeweler actually hand made the pearl necklace. It had a very intricate clasp as well. My husband Michael wore his grandfather’s solid gold custom made cufflinks and gold custom studs with diamonds in the middle. Our band was also special because I had heard them at a wedding more than 10 years ago and held onto their card all this time, vowing to have them at my wedding and I was lucky to have them! They were a huge hit, people are still raving about the band, called Soul Street with Reggie Woods. As for the flowers, I decided not to do traditional peach or white and instead went with very bold, bright, upbeat colors to reflect my personality. I had hot pinks, deep purples, bright yellow, lime green and it came out gorgeous! My florist was Greenleaf and Bloom in Roslyn, Felix is the owner. At the end I had a huge candy buffet because I love candy. It was a huge hit. The vendor was Jennifer Tripodi from “Just Sweets.” Our gold monogrammed invitation also came out beautiful and was created by Party Panache in Great Neck. On the guest card table and mantles we showcased our beautiful engagement photos by Brett Matthews. Our table placecard caligraphy was done by artist Koi Su in old english style NYTimes writing (646-269-4880). My dress was Lusan Mandongus designing for Annasul Y. I wore Stuart Weitzman shoes and diamond earrings that my husband got me as a birthday present a few years ago. My engagement ring contained my husband’s grandmother’s beautiful stone from one of her rings. For the ceremony I used my grandmas wedding band and then later put my wedding band on. My hair was styled by Takashi head stylist at Warren Tricomi’s NYC salon in the Plaza Hotel . He is extremely talented. My makeup was done by Tricia Catenaro Slocum owner of tenhairandmakeup.com. My bridesmaids had their hair done at Salon Renata at the Garden City Hotel. Other than that there were very very high energy dance sets throughout the night since our crowd consisted of very passionate dancers (friends and family). Mike and I made a point to really enjoy our wedding. To us it was one big great party and being surrounded by our friends and family all at once was so special! We ate, we danced and we really enjoyed it. One of our favorite parts was singing and dancing on stage with the band especially when Mike sang living on a prayer at the end of the night. He’s a great karaoke singer and sang it really well!”

Garden City Hotel Wedding Photos – Arielle and Jarryd

Arielle and Jarryd’s wedding at the Garden City Hotel was fantastic! We absolutely loved capturing their day for them from the quiet moments while the two of them were getting ready, all the way through to the last dance. One of our favorite moments from the day was their first kiss as husband and wife, simply because their first kiss ever was at Jarryd’s Bar Mitzvah way back in 1998 – how cute! – and it was such a wonderful experience to watch them start the rest of their life together. We can’t wait to see them again and go over all their photos with them! Congratulations Arielle and Jarryd!

Garden City Hotel Bat Mitzvah – Mazel Tov Ally!

Ally’s Bat Mitzvah at the Garden City Hotel was perfect! Great weather before the party for family photos at their gorgeous house, tons of friends and family members looking their best and ready to celebrate and a fantastic party that went off without a hitch thanks to the very talented Lawrence Scott Events. Ally looked beautiful all in pink with her custom encrusted Steve Madden Shoes sparkling as she stepped into her hot pink stretch Hummer! We had so much fun with Ally and can’t wait to go over her day again when she and her family come back to make her album. Mazel Tov Ally!

The Garden City Hotel Wedding Photos – Ashley and Adam

What a gorgeous wedding! Ashley and Adam had a fantastic wedding at The Garden City Hotel and we were so happy to be able to capture it for them. Ashley looked stunning in her Oscar de la Renta gown and Jimmy Choo heels, and Adam was exquisitely handsome in his tuxedo by Theory. Ashley never stopped smiling from the time we met her for getting ready photos to the very last dance of the night – I doubt she’s stopped since then! These two have some absolutely great chemistry which translated into some fabulous shots, not to mention an extremely great party. When the lights went down and the music came up (courtesy of the one and only rocking Kevin Osbourne and Hank Lane), Ashley and Adam didn’t let anything stand in the way of them having a good time, no matter how tired or hot they were. Family and friends helped them celebrate into the early morning until it was time say goodnight to our newly minted husband and wife. Congratulations again Ashley and Adam!

Garden City Hotel Wedding Photos – Shirin and Richard

Shirin and Richard had a gorgeous wedding at The Garden City Hotel! We met up with them early in the afternoon to grab some shots of them getting ready for their day and then finally seeing each other before their ceremony. We made some beautiful intimate portraits of the two of them inside the hotel, and then during their ceremony under a gorgeous chuppah. Shirin and Richard celebrated the rest of the night away with their family and friends while Valerie and The Starlight Orchestra kept the party jumping. Congratulations again Shirin and Richard!
