Leah and Bobby’s Greentree Country Club wedding in New Rochelle was wonderful. We had a fantastic time capturing their day for them, from start to finish. Here is what Leah wanted to share about their day: ”Having just a touch of an OCD, and being a very critical, over analytical bride is extremely exhausting. Hours of endless research on every single detail down to the nitty gritty. Life had it’s biggest laugh on me when hurricane Irene showed up and overtook our plans. After extensive planning, 2 days before our wedding, we had to contact each of our 300 guests to postpone the wedding. Our vendors were amazing and accomodated us and it all turned out beautifully. One of the nicest things that came about from our wedding postponement was that because we ended up getting married a day later than planned, we now share an anniversary with my aunt and uncle as well as my husbands grandparents who celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary that night as well!!!!! They too had gotten married in a hurricane! Go figure! All in all, having all our friends and family show up and have their support and love throughout this challenging time was really amazing. It was truly a show of love. I wore a Paloma Blanca dress that I purchased from Jae Hee Bridal in NJ. I worked solely with Olivia who was absolutely a dream. I built the entire dress from scratch from the waist up and she was extremely patient, understanding and worked with me every step of the way. My makeup was done by the most amazingly brilliant and talented artist named Valdis. I have recommended her to all my friends getting married and absolutely love her. I had 4 other makeup trials and she nailed it on the head the first time and did a beautiful job. Valdis made me feel like a princess the entire time she was there and made everyone up beautifully. Her email is valdis1113@yahoo.com. My shoes were Stuart Weitzman. Our band was Barock Orchestra who did a phenomenal job playing both jewish and non-jewish music. It was a perfect balance and blend of music. It was great working with Ari Greene who was patient throughout the entire time and listened to what we wanted and delivered. He was creative and patiently spent hours upon hours helping pick songs.” We are so happy for these two! Congratulations again Leah and Bobby!
