Cara and Jeff’s Long Island Wedding at Hamlet of Commack took place on a gorgeous Summer day in July and Cara said it was a beautiful day just like the first day she and Jeff met. The day began at Cara’s house in Commack, where all of the girl’s got ready. The ceremony took place in Smithtown, at St. Patrick’s Church. After the ceremony, everyone was greeted by the Smithtown Fire Department, where Jeff is a volunteer fireman. Family and friends joined Cara and Jeff for a fantastic reception at the Hamlet of Commack and we had a wonderful time capturing their day for them. Congratulations again you two!

Sometimes you get lucky and have the most wonderful people walk into your studio and ask you to shoot their wedding (which seems to be all of our couples lately), and sometimes you get really lucky and couples like Maya and George walk in. We loved loved loved working with Maya and George because both of them were so ready and willing to do whatever it took to come away from their wedding day with the most amazing images possible. We met up with both of them early in the day before the ceremony for some shots of each of them getting ready, and though they didn’t see each other before the ceremony, we planned some extra time for portraits when we got to The Hamlet to be sure they had time to get the most beautiful images of them together possible. We can’t wait to show the rest of their gorgeous wedding images to them! Congratulations again Maya and George!

We met Noy at the Salon early in the afternoon to get some shots of her getting all done up for her wedding day, then we were off to St Domenic’s in Oyster Bay to meet her groom, Alfredo for the ceremony. These two were so happy together, as you can probably tell from the picture of them leaving the church, and we were very happy to be there with them capturing all the excitement of their wedding day for them. A quick stop at the Planting Fields for some portraits of Noy and Alfredo and then we were off to the Hamlet Commack to celebrate with friends and family. Congratulations Noy and Alfredo!
