Marissa and Brian’s gorgeous wedding at Old Westbury Country Club has some of our favorite moments from this Summer! We had a tremendously fun time with these two love birds and it was an absolute joy to capture their wedding. We thought we’d let Marissa give you some of the details from the day in her own words: “Overall, we think what was so great about our wedding was how personal and detailed it was. We really thought of everything and all aspects of our wedding reflected our personalities – down to the ceremony instrumental Beatles medley, to every piece of food served, to the water bottles to revive our guests on their way out (with a picture from our engagement shoot!) We have been together for 8 years (since we were 18.) We started dating at Cornell during orientation week of Marissa’s freshman year, Brian’s sophomore year. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted – the weather was gorgeous, our friends had a blast (some may have had too good of a time,) and everyone is still talking about it! We would love to do it all over again, but we wouldnt change a thing!” Marissa and Brian also included some of their favorite special details from their day: ‘Just Married’ Golf Cart – the entire Brett Matthews’ crew on O.W. golf course! – Balcony First Look – Recessional “I Want To Hold Your Hand” by The Beatles – First Dance “I Got You Babe” by Sonny & Cher – Female singers changing costume – DJ After Party – After Party junk food (cotton candy, candy bar, slidders, waffles, popcorn).
