Virginia and Terrance’s NYC Wedding at Pier Sixty was gorgeous! We started the day early, but by the time we were taking their portraits the sky had turned a perfect red-orange as the sun slipped over the horizon. We had a great time with our bride and groom, capturing their day for them, and Virginia wanted to share a few special moments: “Having our 10 month old son (Reilly) on the alter with us at the church and having my homestay family from Japan there (in their traditional wear: kimonos). Terence’s uncle Jim singing “Danny Boy” at the ceremony and then Terrance and I walking out of the church to the bagpipes, and hundreds of tourists cheering! Instead of a Maid of Honor I had my brother Dan as the MAN of Honor. Paul at Pier Sixty helped make everything so professional! From the second we got there we didn’t have to worry about a thing, and the food by Abigail Kirsch Catering was AMAZING!!!!” Congratulations again Virginia and Terrance!

Sara and Gavin’s New York City Wedding at Pier Sixty was gorgeous! They had a beautiful day to get married, and the view from Chelsea Piers across the Hudson as the afternoon sun started hanging lower in the sky was just amazing. We such a good time with Sara and Gavin and we got so many gorgeous photos of the two of them. As the night progressed and the sun slipped below the horizon, the rich, deep hues of their party (courtesy of Bardin Palomo) saturated the ballroom at Pier Sixty and put everyone in a dancing celebratory mood, especially as Marianne Bennet stepped up to the mic to keep the guests on their feet. A fantastic day and night and we can’t wait for them to see the rest of their photos. Congratulations again Sara and Gavin!

This New York City Wedding at Pier 60 was gorgeous! Martha and Thomas had a perfect day in mid July for a NYC wedding, and we took full advantage of the time we had with them and squeezed as much in as possible. After starting at Martha’s parent’s home in Queens we headed to St Andrew Avellino for their ceremony before making our way to the unmistakable streets of TriBeCa for some photos of the two of them together. Then it was time to meet up with family and friends at Pier 60 for their party, flowers by Superior NYC and music by Hank Lane. We had a fantastic time with Martha and Thomas and we can’t wait to see them back in the studio soon. Congratulations again Martha and Thomas!

Vanee and Gokulan’s NYC Wedding at Pier Sixty was a stunningly vibrant affair set amidst the concrete jungle of Manhattan. South Asian Weddings are always amazing to photograph, but seeing Vanee and Gokulan and how happy they are together made the day even that much more enjoyable. Gorgeously rich colors (courtesy of Elegant Affairs), an amazing venue with the Hudson River as a backdrop, the setting sun after a beautiful late summer afternoon, and family and friends celebrating the pure joy of love. Congratulations again Vanee and Gokulan!

We met up with Jill and Gary early in the afternoon at Pier 60, part of the Chelsea Piers complex, for some shots of the two of them getting ready to say “I Do” and start their lives together as husband and wife. A gorgeous background of the Hudson combined with the streets of TriBeCa came together to make some great settings for their portraits. A beautiful day in Manhattan and an amazing time spent with Jill and Gary as well as all of their guests. Congratulations again you two!
