Steiner Studios played host to Sarah and Alan’s gorgeous Brooklyn wedding back at the end of May. We met up with them early in their day at Sarah’s grandparent’s house to get some photos of the two of them getting ready before their day started. Then it was off to Our Lady of Martyrs for the ceremony under beautiful arches and architecture. Afterwards we headed to Steiner Studios for portraits of the bride and groom, family and friends before their party.
We thought we’d let Sarah tell you a little bit more so here’s a few words from the gorgeous bride: “I am originally from Queens NY and Alan is from Tipperary Ireland. We met in Sanfrancisco and we never left! Our friends and family are all very important to us and we knew getting them all together in the city we love would make for a special day and a great party. . Family and Friends traveled from Ireland, California, Washington D.C, all parts of NY and even Alaska to be in attendence and show their support! The wedding was planned for May 27 and when I arrived in NY a week early the weather forecast called for rain everyday. Well, the morning of the wedding came and there was no rain in site…in fact it was a scorcher—-Almost 90 degrees!!! I got ready at my grandparents house in Forest Hills Gardens. The church Our Lady Queen of Martyrs was right down the block. After the ceremony we stopped for pictures along the cobblestone roads of Station Square in Forest Hills and then headed to the reception at Stage Six at Steiner Studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The venue was amazing and our guests gave us rave reviews of our event! Thank you Chris and Steve for all of your hard work and capturing our special moments on film.”
Congratulations again to Sarah and Alan and we can’t wait to show you the rest of your photos!
