Therese and Arturo’s Oheka Castle wedding was gorgeous! We started the day early as Therese and Arturo were getting ready for their day and once they had their first look at each other, we took them to our favorite spots in the castle for portraits of the two of them toghether. Therese and Arturo are fantastic together, and their personalities really shined through in their photos, we are so happy we could capture their day for them! The day ended with a fabulous party with family and friends as everyone celebrated the night away in Oheka’s grand ballroom. Congratulations again Therese and Arturo!

NYC Wedding Photos at The Plaza – Jessica and Carl

Jessica and Carl’s New York City wedding at The Plaza was stunning! A perfect Winter wedding in New York, with a gorgeous bride and groom as well. After meeting up with Jessica and Carl as they were getting ready, it was time to head to St Ignatius Loyola where they would see each other for the first time from either end of that long aisle. After a beautiful ceremony we took Jessica and Carl around the streets of midtown, where the glistening scenes of December in New York provided the perfect backdrop for photos of our newly minted husband and wife. The Plaza’s ballroom welcomed family and friends with splashes of flowers via Katydid Florist, and enchanted melodies via Hank Lane’s Pete Saunders. A fabulous night – Congratulations again Jessica and Carl!

Tylar’s Bat Mitzvah at Cold Spring Country Club was electric! We had an absolutely amazing time capturing the day for her and her family and can’t wait for them to see the gorgeous results. Tylar’s mom and dad, Patrice and Jeff, and Tylar’s sister Hayley, along with all their family and friends helped Tylar celebrate the night away. Starlight handled the musical helm while guests were surrounded by blue, silver and white courtesy of Stefans. A fabulous night from start to finish – Mazel Tov Tylar!

Bourne Mansion Wedding Photos – Katina and William

Katina and William’s Long Island wedding at Bourne Mansion took place on a bright and clear day in early December. We met up with Katina at her house early in the day as she was finishing up getting ready before heading to St Nicholas Church to meet William. After the I Do’s and the rice, we headed to Bourne Mansion where we spent some time with just Katina and William, making gorgeous portraits of the two of them together. Soon it was time to hand them back over to their family and friends for the party. Bourne Mansion was in full swing with Hank Lane filling our ears with music and Little Flower Shop filling our noses with the scent of fresh blooms. We are so happy we could capture their day for them – Congratulations again Katina and William!

Jennifer and Todd’s wedding at Oheka Castle took place on a beautiful day in early December. This Winter our brides and grooms have been blessed with some very mild weather, and Jennifer and Todd were no exception. After we finished up in the bridal suite as Jennifer was getting ready, we headed down to the grand staircase, where a crowd had gathered to watch Jennifer and Todd see each other for the very first time on their wedding day. Immediately after, we took everyone out on the lawn for group photos, until it was time for just our bride and groom to spend some quality photo time together in and around Oheka. Soon it was time to head back inside for their ceremony and party. Flowers by Brian and Music by Code Bleu made the night complete at the castle. Congratulations again Jennifer and Todd!

Caroline and Christopher’s Oheka Castle wedding was on an absolutely beautiful late Autumn day in November. Clear blue skies and warm breezes kept our bride and groom warm as we explored Oheka’s grounds. The sun being so low in the sky gave us hours of that low light you usually only get in late afternoon, casting long shadows and rimming our bride and groom in that glorious golden glow. As family and friends started to arrive it was time head back inside the castle walls for the ceremony and party. So glad we could capture their wedding for them; we had a fabulous time - Congratulations again Caroline and Christopher!

The Village Club at Lake Success Bat Mitzvah Photos – Mazel Tov Rachel!

The Village Club at Lake Success played host to Rachel’s Bat Mitzvah in early December, and we had the pleasure of capturing the day for her and her family. The evening started with Rachel and her family meeting us at The Village Club, just as the finishing touches were being put on the party. We spent some time with Rachel, making some fabulous portraits of her, and then her whole family together. Soon guests began to arrive and as the music came up in the speakers, and the doors swung open, we were all ushered into a fantasy world of the sweetest dreams possible. Music and decor by Total Entertainment and Lighter Than Air helped to hold this dreamworld aloft well into the night. A fantastic night – Mazel Tov Rachel!

El Caribe Country Club Wedding Photos – Stephanie and Michael

Stephanie and Michael’s wedding at El Caribe Country Club took place on a beautiful Autumn day on Long Island. We had a fantastic time with these two and can’t wait to see them back in the studio again when they put their album together. Here’s what Stephanie wanted to share about her day: “68 degrees and sunny was perfect weather for us! My bridesmaids and I met at Metro Modes Salon/Day Spa in Bellmore for hair/makeup and mimosas and we all got ready at my parents house afterwards while the groom and groomsmen got ready by his parents house. My dress was Melissa Sweet from Priscilla of Boston and my veil was handmade for me. The florist we used was Bayview Florist and Montage in Massapequa Park. Our friend Terry Porfyris with Studio 55 Productions was our DJ and we also had a bongo player who our guests absolutely LOVED, and Michael and his friends showed off their break dancing skills on the dance floor which was great. We used Breezy Point Entertainment for our photo booth which was one of the best investments for entertainment. Everyone loved it! It was the best day of my entire life ” Congratulations again Stephanie and Michael!

Taylor and Dylan’s New York wedding at The Metropolitan Club was beyond gorgeous! This historic venue is a New York icon sitting at the southeast corner of Central Park and is one of the most beautiful places in the city to host a wedding. Taylor and Dylan’s day was a fairy tale from start to finish and we are so happy to have captured it for them. Much praise to David Beahm for putting together and executing an amazing event for Taylor and Dylan, keeping the day stress free and picture perfect. We can’t wait for Taylor and Dylan to see all of the photos – Congratulations again you two!

The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers Wedding Photos – Sara and Nick

Sara and Nick’s NYC Wedding at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers was fantastic! We had so much fun capturing their day for them; here’s what they wanted to share from their day: “It was a really great day for Nick and I. We started out the day way too early, getting ready at my parents house, then onto a bus into Manhattan, where we obviously sat in unavoidable NY traffic at the 59th Street bridge because they were filming a movie. I had hoped for a beautiful fall day, and except for a little wind, we had excellent weather. We had searched long and hard for a venue and the Lighthouse turned out to be absolutely perfect, the staff made sure everything ran seamlessly and there was nary a problem the entire day. Our favorite part of the day was the ceremony, which we worked hard with our Reverend to customize. I wore my mom’s blue garter, jewelry borrowed from my grandma, and I was married in a wedding band that belonged to my great grandmother, that was very meaningful for me. I walked down the aisle to one of our favorite Iron & Wine songs, which our band leader Pete Saunders learned specifically for our wedding. One of the funniest things that I think happened was that I actually forgot to wear my veil during the ceremony, and nobody realized! Even I did not realize until we were leaving and I saw the bride who was being married that evening at the Lighthouse taking pictures in her veil, and I was like, oh my god I didn’t wear my veil! That, and my cousin’s fiancée split his pants open dancing – a good time was had that afternoon. In fact, our band actually told us that they could not believe how many people were up and dancing since it was an afternoon wedding. We had a blast.” Congratulations again Sara and Nick!
