Oheka Castle Wedding Photos – Roula and Fotis

Roula and Fotis were married at the historic Oheka Castle hotel and estate. Thankful for the warm winter, this stunning couple were able to take advantage of the castle’s grounds by taking some of their portraits outdoors. Roula and Fotis sum up their day by saying the following: “Our photographer is a fantastic person, he made us both feel comfortable and relaxed as well as making us laugh. He made our engagement session and wedding day were so much easier than we ever expected. Fotis and I are both so thankful he and the other great staff were so wonderful.” Congratulations Roula and Fotis!

Giorgio’s Wedding Photos – Sheri and Patrick

Sheri and Patrick were married at Giorgio’s of Fox Hill. We love it when we get to describe how much everyone enjoyed a couple’s special day, but we love it even more when a bride can tell us about the celebration in her own words! Check out Sheri’s narrative:

“On February 19, 2012 Pat and I married after sharing eleven amazing years together. It was a perfect day to say our I Do’s. For an entire year we planned every detail from what the boys would wear on their feet to our awesome [Vermont] syrup favors. (Pat proposed in VT, and it has always been a favorite place of ours). Every moment of the day was my personal favorite. Our Ceremony at the Presbyterian Church of the Moriches was so perfect and intimate. Taking photographs with Chris and his team of Brett Matthews Photography at Giorgios was so much fun. Well, it was fun but walking in my Jimmy Choos on a golf course was a bit challenging! One of our favorite little touches to our wedding was the photobooth provided by Majestic Photobooth! It was a total hit with all of our guests. Each guest was able to take an unlimited amount of pictures to keep and to also paste in coffee table book with a little message for Pat and I. Our best man and maid of honor speeches was another favorite or ours. Rachel and Ryan truly spoke from their heart and it touched not only Pat and I but everyone in the room. Our DJ, Long Island Sound did an amazing job. The dance floor was packed the entire evening. It truly was a beautiful day for both Pat and I, and our friends and family. The best day of our lives.”

Crest Hollow Country Club Wedding Photos – Jina and Ronald Jr.

Jina and Ronald Jr. had a beautiful reception at Crest Hollow Country Club, where they infused the festivities with an element of exotic Middle Eastern taste. “We wanted to make sure that my Egyptian culture was present at the wedding,” Jina related to us, which included the services of belly dancers Aisha & Anna. The nuptials had a heightened significance, said Jina: “My husband and I met 15 years ago in college and have been through more than most married couples, so just getting married was extra special!” Here’s her description of how the day went:

“Ronald Jr. got dressed with his groomsmen and our beautiful yorkshire terrier, Lola at the Waldorf Astoria before heading to the church ceremony at St. Vartan Armenian Cathedreal where we first saw each other that day to begin our life together… We also had entertainment that got everyone out of their seats, even my uncle who is about to have knee replacement!”

With romantic flair like that, is it any wonder that the couple’s love for each other comes across so naturally in these pictures? Congratulations, Jina and Ronald Jr.!

Long Island New Born Photography – Sophie

A very special former bride of ours – our very own Seth Fischer’s sister Pam – came in recently with her brand spanking new baby girl Sophie for a portrait session. We absolutely love new born shoots here at the studio, and to have basically the newest addition to our extended office family come in, you can just imagine how we all reacted. Sophie is such a cutie! Congratulations Pam and Dave!

Carlyle on the Green Wedding Photos – Molly and David

Molly and David’s wedding at Carlyle on the Green was a gorgeous Winter wedding. These two are just so perfect together and we are so happy we could capture their day for them. Molly wanted to share a few of her favorite details about their day with us and we couldn’t resist: “I wore my mother’s gown and veil that she had bought from Priscilla of Boston 31 years ago. David surprised me at the wedding with his rendition of Frank Sinatra’s ”The Way You Look Tonight” and was amazing! Also, we were featured in the NY Times Wedding section, which was pretty exciting! Our photo was from our photo shoot in Central Park with our photographer Chris from Brett Matthews ” So happy to be a part of their wedding - congratulations again Molly and David!
